Mr. Melake an Ethiopian born U.S. Citizen, has decades of experience in the Ethiopian business, non-profit, education, and government sectors. Mr. Melake studied Media Network and Computer and Network Maintenance at Phoenix University and Kalamazoo college. He then managed various retail businesses in the United States, including setting up and managing the Boston Museum of Science’s retail store in Boston’s Children’s Hospital.

Mr. Melake returned to Africa in 2001 where he consulted for Oceanic Bank, Lufthansa Technic, the Kühne Foundation (Germany,) Mapei Chemicals (Italy,) Mitrelli (Israel,) Mekelle University (Ethiopia,) Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia,) California Polytechnic University (United States,) and Velocity Textile Company.
